Planting Tips:
Chives are hardy perennial herbs that grow well in garden beds or containers. Sow seeds indoors several weeks before the last frost or directly in the garden once soil can be worked. Keep soil evenly moist during germination. Once established, plants return each year and can be harvested regularly by cutting the leaves near the base to encourage new growth.
